Stronghold: Crusader is a sequel to a great strategy game Stronghold (Fortress in Poland), this time carrying us to the world of the Middle East in the era of the Crusades (XI – XII century). Like its predecessor, Stronghold: Crusader is referred to as “simulator fortress.” The player can build from scratch its claim to provide its population and the soldiers food and ward off many a powerful attack, or even get yourself an enemy castle. In relation to the Fortress beyond the obvious change of scenery offers, among others, four separate campaigns, both on the European knights led by Richard the Lionheart, as well as Arab warriors led by Saladin. For this new unit, including horse archers, the Teutonic knights, grenadiers and portable ballisty and a new strategic element – water, or rather the lack of it.
