The action here is so again counting each approx. 10 square miles of the city with open structure – the monumental Empire Bay, which is actually quite loose, a virtual adaptation of New York (in the game we meet, among others, so characteristic of the buildings, including the Empire State Building or bridge Brooklyn). Subsequent activities are quite varied, offering, among others, spectacular battles with members of the competing Mafia families, car rides, during which we have someone to follow or flee police, and even the challenges involving the need to act out of the closet. The player is not forced to follow the path of the story, and in the course of the game can devote himself to the many threads of the activity in peripheral or accessory.
Compared to the first series of reads, Mafia II but offers much greater freedom of action and the possibility of unrestricted exploration of the surrounding city that lives its own life and tempts sufficent not entirely lawful activities.
